    Ridge Sampson
    Ridge is an established entrepreneur, having founded three successful companies prior to co-founding Ozone in 1993. Currently he serves as CEO, growing the agency’s billings to multi-million dollar levels.

    His clients have included AOL, Autodesk, Netscape, Intuit, Phonak and Del Monte, as well as many Silicon Valley start-ups and icons. Ridge is also CEO of a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company with over 18,000 users across the U.S., Canada, UK, and Brazil. He brings his experience as a technology client to the table, helping to better understand and serve clients' needs. Ridge also serves on an advisory board for several companies.

    Prior to founding Ozone, Ridge was one of Canada’s top advertising and fashion photographers. Thanks to his offline experience in messaging, branding, and design, Ridge helps create rich online experiences that are seamless to users. The result is heightened brand equity and a deeper, more personal relationship with the user.

    When Ridge isn’t working, he spends every minute with his five-year-old son who is currently in training to windsurf, mountain bike, and snowboard with Dad someday.
  • Joel Lockwood
    Partner, President
    Joel Lockwood
    Joel brings over 25 years of marketing experience to Ozone. He has held executive marketing positions at large corporations such as Computer Associates, Sun Microsystems, Netscape, and America Online, as well as several successful start-ups.

    Joel helps clients understand the benefits of data-driven marketing and responsive design, and counsels them on how to implement these trends. Additionally, Joel’s expertise in digital marketing best practices informs the work Ozone produces.

    Joel loves the outdoors, and when push comes to shove, would rather be on a mountain (biking, hiking, or skiing). Other passions include his wife, four kids, fly-fishing, and red red wine (not necessarily in that order).

    Sean Shoffstall
    With almost 20 years of demand generation experience under his belt, Sean takes pride in staying on top of the latest technology trends.

    Sean’s (healthy?) obsession with the cutting edge has helped Ozone provide data-driven creative campaigns to Fortune 500 clients and global brands like Autodesk, Medtronic, and Siemens. By utilizing the latest innovations like responsive design and Matrix-Based Lead Generation (which he created with Ozone President Joel Lockwood), the company is able to deliver better results to clients and a better user experience to customers.

    Sean’s passion and expertise have also lead to speaking engagements at industry events like AdTech SF, NCDM, and OMS. He’s also written articles on data-driven marketing for MarketingProfs.com, B2Bonline.com, and other online publications.

    In addition to growing the company, Sean is helping his daughter grow up to be the next digital maven by building robots, making stop-motion videos, and playing with their new favorite toy, a MaKey MaKey.

    Lucas Mays
    A loyal Ozoner for most of his career, Lucas has nine years of demand gen experience, providing strategic planning and technical development to clients like Autodesk, Intel, and Brocade.

    While he spends most of his time at Ozone directing and overseeing the Engineering team or collaborating with other departments, Lucas isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty in the production trenches.

    Outside of the office, Lucas thrives in the local Capoeira community (an Afro-Brazilian martial art) which kickstarts his seemingly limitless energy. You can also catch him on the mountain, whether he’s climbing up it in the summer, or shredding down it in the winter.
